Check it out. He just did it, it is now the symbol. the one found on halo3.com in the chiefs visor

I know, I just posted this before you.
It's called Chrysopteron in the file name.
Apparently Chrysopteron is a species of animal found in Africa..

When you right click on the image properties, it is named Chrysopteron.gif. Any thoughts on what that means?

typing Chrysopteron into google images yields interesting results maybe the sign will lead us too the fire keepers
