Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur Adipisici elit sed eiusmod tempor Incidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua
This is the same filler text that appeared in the Halo3.com/popup window. It has been verified as nothing importaint over at B.net. Google "Lorem ipsum" and you'll find this.
The standard Lorem Ipsum passage, used since the 1500s

"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. beelzebub wrote:While I would be inclined to agree with you that there's not much evidence for it being an actual stereogram, you ought to know there is a distinction between a stereogram and an autostereogram. The latter is the "Magic Eye" sort of single image you are describing above. A stereogram is much more simply and consists of two separate images, both taken from a slightly different camera angle. Since the image has slightly different right and left channels, it COULD be a stereogram, although the utility of the stereo image is probably low.

The stuff in the background is definitely noise, and not continents. This is an incredibly noisy way to encode images, even assuming we actually used all the exactly correct parameters for decoding it (which is doubtful).
Still not sure what you're getting at. The image has no repeating patterns to join a left and right image. The image doesn't have 'left and right channels'. It's simply noise.
Whether we're talking about an autostereogram or a stereogram, there is only one image, and it's noise. No stereogram or autostereogram here.

The wav file is in stereo and has two channels, left and right. Both of these are completely separate tracks, as is normal for stereo sound, and can encode completely different images. If, in fact, you look at the spectrogram for the left channel and the right channel, you'll see that they are slightly offset, suggesting a stereogram.

It sounds like you guys are talking about 719hz.wav
That discussion is in another thread and someone has taken the left and right images, colored them red and blue, overlapped, and used 3d glasses.

That's on page 5 of 719 Hz is a hidden image

Is there a way someone can get the last video on the list on their phone? The one with all the glyphs on the site with the latin or whatever

just wondering, is the placement of the glyph in the ringtones section of the website a clue that something is embedded in the ringtones? i havnt seen it in any of the other pages (though the videos in the about halo section are cool).

Does anyone else feel like random sites are just randomly using the glyph now? like the halo.msn and the ringtones sites, and the gamestop cutout...so far none of those things have yielded any results?

Yeah seems like it.... but bungie did say to distinguish what is ARG and what is not ARG related, they would use the Forerunner glyph, so i spose we have to take everything with it and investigate it as thouroughly as we can till its dust. Leaves little possibility we missed something. Annoying as it is...

also, about the latin:
(from wikipedia)
"In publishing and graphic design, lorem ipsum is standard placeholder text used to demonstrate the graphic elements of a document or visual presentation, such as font, typography, and layout. Lorem ipsum also serves as placeholder text in mock-ups of visual design projects before the actual words are inserted into the finished product. When used in this manner, it is often called greeking.

Even though using "lorem ipsum" often arouses curiosity due to its resemblance to classical Latin, it is not intended to have meaning."
