I'll try to figure out how it was unlocked.
AS of now, it seems like the password was actually artifactlocation, but *wait* *moment of inspiration*
ON the page that you could enter your key, it had a thing for a security code, which means that the password wasn't a GUID, otherwise, you wouldn't need a security code.
Also, it said, your security code-> <code>

Yeah, it's bull, a) people have reported getting more keys than would be possible, people I trust. b) It's obviously bull. I personally decompiled all of the flash stuff ( http://lattyware.co.uk/OtherFiles/location.tar.gz if you are interested) and it's not true, I guarantee it.
