Server 4 Discussion
I figured I should start a new thread so the Server 4 Up doesn't get too flooded to be able to make sense of.
First off I noticed, during the server video a string of binary scrolls along the bottom towards the end. Someone smarter than I am get to decoding.

Well, I think that settles the question of what "It has done this before // elsewhere" meant.
The "conservation measure" referred to in the video must be the Index--DNA records of all living things, or at least all living things the Forerunner wanted to remain alive in the galaxy.

Indeed. It also confirms that the forerunner didn't create the flood (unless they created them in another galaxy?). The star image is messed up, but I think deserves its own thread.
No idea who found it. By the time I clicked the link I was able to get 4 Runtime Errors after clicking Login and then it was done. That was literally seconds, maybe a minute, to go from 0-100.

Question: How the heck did these people even find the BPC? The thing we were doing wasn't even remotely related to that address!

Yes, meaning it's from earth, as alien DNA would likely involve different proteins. What I find interesting about that file is at the top:
{anomalous correlation - negative}
What correlation were they looking for? Did they find life on two different planets that were oddly related? Were they looking for some connection to the Flood?
