The "Vic Incident"

Leads that wound up being lost causes, having nothing to do with the ARG. Also, for threads discussing what turned out to be hoaxes.

Transcript from what I can make out:

goes directly to...wait its ringing now..ok. Starts off with odd warbling/wobbling electronic noises then goes into:

"hey there (sounds like dere) it's vic (says something like "o so dio?") I'm not at the casa right now, so leave your message and I'll call you back (another part of a sentence I can't make out).... (~2 second pause)...yo.

I got linked here from the UnFiction forums.

I think that audio at the beginning needs to be recorded. Maybe we could run it through a spectrometer? I remember Aphex Twin did something like that in a song and you could see a face (his own) so maybe they tried that here.

Edit: Look at the FNC### numbers. They add up to a phone number.

01-357-566-3331

I'll call it and report back.

Edit2: It isn't even a valid Area code. I lose. ;-[

You tried it without the 01 in front, right?

01 is simply the country code for the US, but the next 3 numbers (The area code) are invalid.

And yes, I did dial without the 0.

Cyprus what?

A reverse phone lookup came up with nothing.
