I called the Normal City Clerk, who referred me to the McLean County Recorder's office.

According to them, the property at 106 W. Locust Street is an apartment buidling owned by a James Kibble.

Seems like it's a real apartment buidling after all -- maybe we accidentally found a real David George unrelated to the game.

Oddly, the search for ---- David George Normal Illinois --- no longer results in the previously found listing.
