New end time on clock + proof...again
ok. i had shown how to figure out the ending time from the previous clock.
however a new clock has been posted, and i will show you what the new ending time will be...
To see how i did it the first time, visit:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=247
it shows the process of saving the flash object from the transmission log page
and how to read the source code of the embed object.
This is for ALL the little kids on the Bungie.net forums that are struggling with this..."MATH IS HARD"...'"Not when you have a frick'n computer in front of you."
UPDATE: new image, easier to see HOW the source code of the clock says its going to be Midnight Tuesday Eastern GMT -5
UPDATE 2: the little kids over at b.net are still having trouble...so...ill post a table
UPDATE 3: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24-hour_clock
GMT -8 [Pacific - San Fransisco/Seatle] 9pm Tuesday night
GMT -7 [Mountain - Denver] 10pm Tuesday night
GMT -6 [Central - Chicago] 11pm Tuesday night
GMT -8 [Eastern - New York] 12am Wednesday morning [midnight]
now this is assuming that the clock doesn't change again. if/when that happens...i'll update

Re: New end time on clock + proof...again
So it still ends on Midnight of the 20th. Why did it speed up then? How very confusing.

it speeds up because midnight is different for different peaple, im guessing this timer runs out midnight for peaple in england which is 5 hours before midnight in america etc
so by that im guessing peaple in england will see the clock hit 0 first correct?

The original clock ended on the midnight between June 20 and 21. The new one ends between the June 19 and 20, a full 24 hours earlierSir Topham Hat wrote:So it still ends on Midnight of the 20th. Why did it speed up then? How very confusing.

I don't see how that is. Why does it have midnight for the 20th and the 21st listed if it's the 20th and the 19th?

I'm sorry if I confused you, to me it looked like you thought it ended at the same time, my bad.Sir Topham Hat wrote:I don't see how that is. Why does it have midnight for the 20th and the 21st listed if it's the 20th and the 19th?

It is listed for the 20th & 19th, it's 00:00 on the 20th, Midnight is always counted as the beggining of the day, not the end (So we use 00:00 instead of 24:00). If it was the 20th & 21st, It'd be 00:00 on the 21st.Sir Topham Hat wrote:I don't see how that is. Why does it have midnight for the 20th and the 21st listed if it's the 20th and the 19th?
