They're getting everywhere as fast as possible so they can spread the word before the timer hits zero

But what happens then? All we know is that membership signups begin, but we don't know what will happen on the solstice. Explosions? Mayhem and madness? Or some sort of alien invasion.

What I want to see is Microsoft staging an alien invasion, complete with big three eyed robots like the ones in the comic.

I would pay to see that. But knowing MS, at least one of them would turn up late. Or Crash into something. And then get boycotted by angry fanbys for not looking exactly right.

Especially since they would get the interns to build and drive these giant machines. And that's just asking for trouble. In fact, the interns really shouldn't do anything.
