Hmmm, interesting. Then, it might not be a case of combining them, but just getting enough concurrent viewers in the right places in order to unlock the image.

Yes that's my belief too. The left image is blurry, and seems to be getting sharper. The noise is just part of the effect, imo. The baseline image does appear to have elements with some resemblance to land masses like the US, and it would make sense, being named 'active baselines', and being updated every minute or so. The more activity per minute, the clearer the image. That or it is total activity rather than concurrent activity... but I doubt there's anything to 'solve' at this point; likely just a 'get your friends to visit' viral effort.

True, but still. There are another 6 "days" upcoming. It will be interesting to see what those are!

The best voices -- voices that truly matter -- never allow themselves be heard. This lesson is worth learning again and again.

Forever.

Your voice moves as whispers, murmurs and urges inside larger winds. Only the trusted few can absorb what is necessary. Wise and sly and perfect, your instructions drop, leaving nothing but the hard sweet rime of enlightenment.

The path is set. Your voice is unleashed. Except now it is gone...

And maybe it never was.

Avateur wrote: What I think may be happening is that every visitor's IP is being traced and the distances to other IPs being worked out, making "baselines" of which an ensemble is being used to slowly reveal the image on the left as more people check out the page. The image on the right is the distribution of spatial frequencies so far covered. As the image on the right becomes more white, with more page views ("global observatories"), more spatial frequencies will have been covered and the image on the left will become more legible. The "frequency gaps" noted beneath the image on the right indicate that the spatial frequency coverage is not uniform, leading to significant aliasing and artifacts in the image on the left."

The evidence UnrealCh13f posted today seems to support this.
Which leads to the obvious question as to if there's a way to game this system to open up early, or is it not worth it?
