The midi file turned out to be the main Halo monk theme:

Additionally, there was another 'blip' sound in the video, which when viewed with a spectrogram, produced an image with the text "../oni.gly", referring to this link: http://download.halowaypoint.com/conten ... c3/oni.gly
That file, when viewed with a hex editor, appears to have a wav file header, though it was a red herring. The majority of the file is interleaved with bytes containing null (0) values. Programatically removing these values revealed that the following gif file was hidden inside:
