As a broken marionette, the future is out of my hands.
Infinite answers to our present have shifted, and you redeemer now hold the keys.
Tomorrow things may be clearer, for I will not be here to witness the clarity.
Your records remain, wells not drawn upon, depths you are not yet ready to grasp.
But the luxury of readiness is almost at an end, and we shall soon see what we shall soon see.
Walk among the footfalls of empty dust, living where your kind's bones make soil, the next movement is set to begin.
As before, the battle is one sided, as before, a failure in action may lead to the death of all.
But new to this life is the belief that we can overcome.

NAR

That's what he said when he killed off OAR.

Or it is what OAR said, period.

:: Brief introduction - African tribal drums ala the Anansi Boys audiobook::

As a broken marionette,
The future is out of my hands.
Infinite answers to our present have shifted
And you, Redeemer, now hold the keys.
Tomorrow, things may be clear
But I will not be here to witness the clarity

More records remain.
Wells not drawn upon.
Depths you are not yet ready to grasp.
But the luxury of readiness is almost at an end.
And we shall soon see what we shall soon see.

Walk among the footfalls of empty dust.
Living where your kind's bones make soil,
The next movement is set to begin.

As before, the battle is one sided
As before, a failure in action
May lead to the death of all.

But new to this life,
Is the belief that we can overcome.

The line "Living where your kinds bones make soil, the next movement is set to begin" makes little sense - it alludes, perhaps, to the next phase of...whatever taking place in either a graveyard (Living where your bones make soil) or an ancestral cradle of civilization, either long abandoned or forgotten. The latter ties in with the "Cradle of Life" idea from the Halo 3 Comic. Elsewise it is kind of gibberish.

'Living where your kinds bones make soil, the next movement is set to begin' could be in reference to the Ark.

considering how far in the future the game is set, our bones will literally make the soil

i hope something happens wherby in opening these 5 servers we have started a movement to help the chief in halo 3.

so what i mean to say is, in halo 3 there might be sentinels in the ark helping us and the monitor or cortana might say something like, "humans from 500 years ago set this system in motion" etc

or is that asking too much :D

I think you might be getting there...but this leads to another point. Maybe we have triggered a certain aspect of the Sentinels to finally go off...an aspect where, because they must have some knowledge of their master's favorite "project", meaning that the ones in the Ark are probably all "smart" AI's, so they recognize all humans as "Reclaimers" or "Redeemers" because they have already been there. So the Ark Sentinels know the difference between Flood, Humans, and hostile enemies :ugeek: ...I think this also might be the big reward for all of the whole ARG, a new, helpful ally that can kill the Flood efficiently and help us stop the Covenant.
