Does Age Really Matter?
Hi...just wondering if when unlocking servers your age really matters. I'm 15, haven't opened any servers but am hoping to open the fifth (tho it's highly unlikely). Does age affect you opening the servers and getting prizes or anything? And where do Microsoft get your age from? I remember filling in a form as part of opening server 4 (tho I got runtime error... ), but I'm guessing that's not the same for each server. Do Microsoft get your age from your gamertag or your windows live ID? Sorry if this has been mentioned before...I probably missed it.
And feel free to lock once I've got my answer.

Re: Quick question...
They get it from your Windows Live ID or MSM email account, whichever one you use. 15 may be too young, but I haven't heard any rejection stories.
Let's see if anyone else knows.

Re: Quick question...
i dont think age matters, but just in case it might be wise to edit your hotmail details to make out your 18, its a bit of a lie, but no doubt your gonna play halo 3 anyway so it doesnt really affect anyone

Re: Quick question...
The minimum age is actually 17 because Halo 3 is rated Mature. Just to be safe, I would enter my parents' age and e-mails so you'll get the prize if you unlock a server.

Re: Quick question...
Good idea...so can you enter any e-mail address from any domain?
Re: Quick question...
You have to setup a .NET profile, but you can set it up against any email address.

Re: Quick question...
I'm pretty sure you can.
In XP, if you go in Windows Control Panel and go into Users or Accounts, not sure (I use a Mac and use Parallels for XP), you go into your current account that you are using, and there should be a link that takes you to your .NET account, if there is an account associated with that user.
