The indents could only be a result of what's there as a clue, not be a clue itself.

We probably need to wait for all the random letter sets to stop, we don't know how many there are but we cant get anything from them now.

Its got 4 more digits with the random letters though.

It's acting as if it is decoding something... like there is something decoding each piece.

So perhaps at the beginning it had only random figures, then added cities, now added a date. Hopefully, the next is an address or phone numbers to reverse search an address.

Do you have a link to it? If it's mildly "official" it might be related. A similar thing occured with ILoveBees, in that the people who went to some locations(like the ones mentioned here) got a private "screening" of what I believe to be Halo 2 Multiplayer.
Just a thought.

Artifact Location: Confirmed...

NEW YORK // 081607 // ------
SEATTLE *// 081607 //* ------
LOS ANGELES // 081607// ------

Stars sprite in the background, every 2:00 two of them flash at the above location for 0:16.

It's most likely a phone number if it corresponds to the random characters cycling, since there are ten characters: ten numbers in a phone number, including area code.

The only problem with that is that there were 10 characters flashing before the the date came up, 10 could be the cap of figures, but it could be less.
