An IP to keep watching, interesting

Unread post by afrokaze »

Alright, I know that there are no confirmed or good IP addresses to come up in a while, but this one caught my attention: 207.16.223.107

I was trying the site numbers mentioned in the voicemail, and this one returned a "The connection has timed out. The server at 206.16.223.107 is taking too long to respond."

Any net wizards out there know what this means more specifically? Does it confirm that there is an actual site there, but it isn't meant to be seen yet? Either way, I think we should keep an eye on this one.

What we see on the front pages of these servers (404 or 403 errors, etc) have no indication whatsoever that they're being used for the ARG. 206.16.223.61 is home to Server 5, but you'd never know it unless you went to the specific directory at ttp://206.16.223.61/E5h2JK/flash/web/index.html

The main directory has a 403 page, but so does 206.16.223.59. DOes that mean it's of any importance? No. You needn't keep an eye on any of these IPs. When one is ready, we will be informed somehow. Save your finger strength.

http://206.16.223.66 will most likely have trailing info at the end of the site similar to http://206.16.223.61/e5h2jk/flash/web/index.html

It means there is nothing at that IP. No one is using it.
