Hey, Where'd my topic go?!

If your topic is no longer where you originally created it, chances are it's been moved to a more appropriate forum.
If the thread was severely derailed it may have been deleted.

Before you ask or post a new version of your old thread, check the other forums, or perform a search!

Most of all we urge you, before you hit that submit button, to think: "Does this topic really fit into this forum? Could it really fit in better somewhere else?"
It's best to ask these questions when you've written your post and are previewing it, as you can see the final direction that your writing goes in, and adjust anything that doesn't sound right.
If it doesn't fit, copy and paste the text then create a thread in the more appropriate forum.

This rule can go towards threads that you or other members have already posted, or threads that have previously been moved or deleted - apply these questions to them:

• Was the information posted already proved wrong in an existing thread?
• Was it discussed already somewhere else?
• Was the author really adding anything to the conversation at all?

If you can look back and review using the above questions, and see for yourself where the previous threads of yourself or other members went wrong, as a community, we can stop these lost threads before they begin, to enable a faster, more effective and user-friendly experience!
