Odd line of text in halo3.com tracking XML

Unread post by EliteSniper177 »

well while browsing through the tracking XML of halo3.com, i get the following message in IE 7:
Incorrect syntax was used in a comment. Error processing resource 'http://halo3.com/xml/tracking.xml'. Line 271, Position ...

<!-- IRIS --->
--------------^
heres what i get in Firefox:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://halo3.com/xml/tracking.xml
Line Number 271, Column 15: <!-- IRIS --->
----------------------------^
is this an indicator of something to come at halo3.com, or has it been there? (i haven't seen it in my recent looks into the XML)

I agree with DHalo.

The error message is being generated by your browser. (Are you using Firefox?)

The line in the source looks like it is supposed to be a remark. IE gives more detail on this error.

I don't really understand XML all that much, so I don't know what the problem is. I think it's complaining about the extra - on the right side.

However, being that this isn't something public users are supposed to be looking at, I believe we can safely assume this will not produce any ARG information.
