Ever since nattyhaze found that new information about "Flood Containment Control", there has been a lot of activity on various forums about that picture and that phone number in the adverts. So here is a thread so that you can talk about the IP addresses. Please talk about possible IP's for server 2 to this thread only as new topics created in this forum will be deleted. Thank You...

Continuing from the old topic...

I went to http://whois.domaintools.com/206.16.223.37 which pretty much breaks down any URL and how many times they have changed domains and other info. Im pretty sure it has nothing do with the ARG cause it says the site was made "2005-07-01" and last updated on the same date.

Edit: I can be wrong. Above the date it says this

If I'm not mistaken all IP's in the range 206.16.223.x belong to microsoft...

thats why im not to sure about the picture containing an ip i figure there would have to be 206 i suppose that 205 could have been misread (i havent looked at the number pic too much just taking everyones word for it)

anyone tried .67? I think its another server, not sure if its been found yet. http://206.16.223.67/ FORBIDDEN o.O

Edit: I think this was pointed out in the previous thread but if you put .61 at the end it'll redirect you to forbidden, but if you do .65 it takes you to Server 1 but the IP ends with .61

I took the idea that AfRo SaUcE had of using http://whois.domaintools.com/ to look up the 206.16.223.67 address (original post at viewtopic.php?f=12&t=655&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=380#p9562) and expanded it to other site names that I have seen talked about (the sites I tried are listed below).

The site said that none of these are owned (or appear to be owned) by Microsoft, though "sitethirtyseven" is open for use.

If you guys want to do more serious DNS and WhoIs lookups, try http://www.dnsstuff.com. They have a lot of powerful tools for doing all sorts of crazy stuff in the pursuit of ARGs.
