Yeah he knows about the ARG, but he isn't part of it, in my opinion. (That doesn't mean I'm suggesting anyone cut communications, just remember, spoilz. How awesome would it be when we're presented with a week long puzzle and he comes in with the final piece before it even starts? REAL CHALLENGE) Drew of Wii60's forums is the same way.
I kind of resent them for acting this way. It really subtracts from the immersion, there is no line to be blurred between this reality and the Alternate Reality with these guys on the scene.

I don't think anything is going to happen with sota.com...

Maybe they abandoned SOTA.com and stuck with societyoftheancients.com, SOTA.com was already taken?

It doesn't really matter if they linked to the same site anyway does it?
Has it been confirmed that Avery was a part of one of these rallies?
And please, please do not harass his friends on myspace or facebook. He's already whining about it.

Yes, he's been confirmed to be the guy pointing upwards at the beginning of the youtube movie.

At least he's confirmed. Too bad that friend of his was such an asshole as to pretend he knew anything.

Yeah. But he may not be of any use either. Hey, here's a thought. What if Ave Ry is the guy who posted that he found the blog through google? Maybe it's all a hoax (again) and the movie was faked.
BTW, whoever posted it, no offence if I'm wrong, its just an idea

Re: http://www.sota.com/ and Avery
Avery is the guy in the movie, and was hired to distribute fliers.
That is how he was able to post the url on his blog before anyone could have known about it.
He is part of the ARG. But he is not a character, nor is he of much other use to us. His job was to hand out fliers in Vancouver. That's it.
Everything else he did was on his own, and potentially violated the NDA he signed when he was hired.
I'm pretty sure he regrets it, as he didn't realize what he was getting into when he leaked the URL on his personal myspace blog.
ARG people never ever ever cross the line between a character they play and who they really are.
Avery made that mistake. He and his friends are now paying for it.
Edit: What I'm saying isn't proven/admitted fact, but the evidence is pretty solid in this case.
