where did you find it, the link did not work for me, maybe because my browser does not play .swf on its own.

odd... the swf code has the date 10/14/2010, 20 hours (8pm?)
My time left is 10 days, 22 hours, 26 minutes, which comes to 10/14, 3pm (EDT)
The countdown display doesn't include year, so I'm not sure if 2010 is relevent or not. If it stays 2010, then after T-0, it'll reset to 365 days (10/14 of the next year).

Anyway... interesting... what's on 10/14?

Hmmm... downloadable content? The explanation of the Legendary Ending? Halo brand Hot Dog Buns!?

Edit: Hey... on the Believe diorama, there is a video that was supposed to be up on 10-01-07, but it looks like it hasn't been posted yet. Anyone able to see it? It is entitled "Testimonial: Gravesite".

I just noticed someting odd about the countdown timer: it's counting down on its own. I installed a Firerfox plugin that tells me all the files of certain extensions that are used on web pages. When I load most of the pages on halo3.com or on one of the Iris servers, they use XML files to load data. This is a practice to save time programming, so insted of editing an entire SWF file, a programmer can just edit a short XML file. However, the countdown uses no outside data except what's on the page. I am still able to see the countdown after shutting the Internet off and loading the SWF file. So someone at Microsoft reprogrammed the page...

It was the SWF used to countdown to the Believe site's launch. All they are doing is looking at a no-longer functioning timer.
