Those star maps/charts

I only just started to follow the ARG, so I don't know much, but one thing flicked some switch of mine. (And, I know I'm new, so just to hint, I don't plan to post something as if I know the whole storey then run and hide, or anything. 
)
How many star maps/charts are there ? Has each server/episode had one so far ? I know I saw two, and that they were in different places, but along a "perimeter" (or so I saw in my mind). S'I was thinking, if one overlaps the images, would they show the rings ? . .would the glyphs be the rings(' locations) ?
Maybe this has been debunked already, I don't know. I just thought it interesting and haven't seen anything on it...
