Server 5 opening Discussion

I can testify for Latty. We were up for about 5 hours last night (we being Latty, Avateur, sassafras, I think someone else, and me) looking through the code for anything. We found jack.
Besides, Bungie doesn't want us to break the game in order to go forward, so why would a clue be placed somewhere that required breaking it?

I have been following this thing since server 3 opened.
First of all, how the HELL did people find the url to enter a passcode (1 of 100)?
Second, what the hell were the passcodes and what the hell did the coordinates from the artifactlocation.com website have to do with anything?
Ok, so someone says, that they were playing a video at those locations. Ok...WHAT VIDEO???
All this talk about stupid ass chinese aligators, and dna code...and "what is the sound wave playing in the top right corner of the server 4 video???!?!?"...and binary codes that spell out some stupid ass sentence...and NONE OF WHICH LEAD TO THE FRAKKING PASSCODE OR UNLOCK SERVER???!!! ARE YOU FRAKKING KIDDING ME!!!??? Well wong dong ding dang...here is some chinese for ya!!!
SO!!!! With that said, would anyone mind spelling out, how they found the url, at which the passcode would be entered, and how they found a passcode? Please enlighten us all. I'm done. I thought this was gonna be a cool ass mystery-look-at-the-clues-and-figure-out-the-answer type thing. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!

...although it was cool learning about Halo back-story.
