Alright, well I plan on going to NYC today, so what can we expect here?
We have a time, will the site just update at that time, or will the event be taking place at those times?

Whats going down with the countdown is being discussed here:

I personally don't think anything is happening in NY, Seattle, or LA - I think they're points of reference with the time. NY is EST, Seattle and LA PST, so that we can get a frame of reference.

I reserve the right to alter this theory dramatically should something else be revealed

Isn't that(like the title implies0 only Server 5 stuff? That's why I posted it here. >_>
Well, I would think they would bother putting both Seattle and LA as reference points.

Perhaps, although right now TAL is our only clue to server 5, and it updated within minutes of the server showing active and pending keys... so really they're the same thing.

And why they put LA and Seattle bothers me in terms of my theory too. I don't really know why. Maybe to throw us off? Or there's an equal chance something will happen in those three cities at that time, and the times are coordinated so something doesn't happen sooner in one area than another. Also equally viable in my opinon. It's all speculation
