Re: Artifact Location city letters
Oh. Well, the stars generated when you open the page are random, so maybe the number it stops at correlates with that.[/quote]
I don't know if its a glitch with my computer or not, but I have found a way to temporarly stop the scrolling random letters. I rotate my mouse around them quickly. I have found 3 letter words in them but I have no clue if they have any significance to them. So far I have seen boy, odd, amy.

Those are definitely random. I think MS is going to add something there once we solve the puzzle. Perhaps a phone number, since it is ten digits long.
Re: Artifact Location city letters
From what I can tell, everything is random, exept for the cities (including the number of stars left, I've gotten anywhere from 18-24). Also, how do you look at a site's coding?

Not for me, maybe AOL is just slow at recognizing changes. Gunna try IE.
Edit: Yeah, it works in IE. That's interesting, we should have people placed in those cities that day.
