So, "Places Where the Earth Stands Still." Reminds of me of the classic movie, "The Day the Earth Stood Still." In which aliens arrive and make contact with us. So the book is about places on Earth aliens have landed, or left evidence of their presence, or interacted with humans?
Originally I thought it had something to do with the North and South Poles, but... that's kind of silly.

the earth standing still has to do with the solstice. once again. i thought the movie, too, but the more i think about it, the more i think we are back to lunar and solar cycles.

For the longest time I have had suspicions that Jonas was an AI.. or a moniter, and this proves it! Maybe if AR were to suddenly post again today.. that would be the final nail.

I'm sorry, but this proves nothing, no more than getting the bot to say it was gay does. It is at the end of the day a bot, and not a person. It has preset bot responses other than those triggered by key words. I'm not saying that the "i have programmers thing" may not be a unique response, but it certainly doesn't prove definitively that Jonas is an AI, that he is AR, or that it is anything other than a random response.
