206.16.223.66 changed?

Unread post by Doug52392 »

Hello, I just punched in http://206.16.223.66, and its changed! It no longer redirects. I get an "AWEAuth Error", the same error I got when I went to the IP that goes to Lionhead Studios. The Lionhead stuidos IP address (206.16.223.67) has also changed. Is somthing big happening?

Very, very interesting. I'm sure it's nothing since all of the servers are off of the same IP addy, but with different extensions, but what caught my eye was..

Error Message: A problem was detected during AWEAuth instantiation.
Server: 04
HResult: 80131600
Inner:
Message : One or more arguments are invalid

Source : Passport.RPS.1
HResult: 80070057

I did a telnet into the server to get the code being sent to the browser, heres what I got:

Code: Select all

HTTP/1.1 302 Found
Date: Thu, 09 Aug 2007 00:53:43 GMT
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0

<h2>Object moved to <a href="/AuthError.aspx">here</a>.</h2>
</body></html>

Connection to host lost.

I typed GET / immedetly after it connected to get the root path of the server.
I refershed it several times, and 3 times, for about 10 seconds, it redirected me to 206.16.223.61, and it said it cant show the virtual directory. Look at the header that was sent, it was from Lionhead, but their IP address is 206.16.223.67. Very wired. Even wiereder: The Internet Information Services web servers that run all of the IP addresses we have been given had the option to display virtual directories disabled, but this one IP address did not. Just typing an IP address does somthing, unlike, for example, 206.16.223.61, which returns:

Code: Select all

<h1>Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)</h1>

Connection to host lost.

Press any key to continue...
whenever a user attempts to browse the root of the server. Very wierd.

Even wiereder: It keeps alternating between Server 03 and Server 04 when that error message pops up. I think I may have found server 4!!

Hmm, before it even became pending. I only get Server 4 mentions on my error pages.
