Port Knocking

Leads that wound up being lost causes, having nothing to do with the ARG. Also, for threads discussing what turned out to be hoaxes.

I just wanted to point out that if you look at the times of most of the posts on ARs threads (at least the ones I was looking at before) it looks like as soon as AR posted he was hit with tons of replies and closed the thread as soon as he could after opening it.

Just an update. A basic scan only showed port 80 (HTTP) open and port 443 (HTTPS) closed. I am trying some more advanced scanning but at this point it is unlikely that any other magic ports would be open.

mike g wrote:ye here are the numbers for the number of posts AR has in his forum posts

The first thread has 100 posts exactly.
The second has 503.
The third has 51.
The fourth has 191.

does this help?
This info seems like it may help. Its not an ip address so dont try that(yet ;) )
But if any numbers are need this may be a clue as to what numbers to use.

*Edit* 503 cant be in an IP address. Well it still may help.

I've tried some more types of port scanning specifically on ports (51, 503, 191, 100, 117, 115, 118) and came up with nothing. I think it's safe to abandon this line of thinking at this point and look for something else.
