Uh... it's quite a ways away from Mombasa.

Voi is a much more likely location.

Unit CorvetteHalo3's specified location has no specific significance. Investigation of that location proved fruitless

Isn't it interesting that AR/entities on his behalf investigated that location? And found nothing? AR is a forerunner construct, why would he have investigated the area? And what area proved fruitful?

Well, Adjutant means Assistant or something along those lines, so it would make sense that he's (it's) trying to assist us....

Did a little map

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... ad1fc8a8cf

(From left to right)

Ngorongoro Crater
Mount Kilimanjaro
Voi
Mombasa

It was just a quick lazy job i did, didnt look into distances or co-ordinates, just did a general highlight n line.

You can also switch to Satelite to get an actual look at the geographical details ie Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro.

road to voi could just be a route to a battle ground.I think with the evidence from the trailer,SOTA and comic its safe to say that there is somthing beneth a crater in africa and was watched and documented by N'Chala.Im sure when sota releases more info on where the carvings were located we will have a better idea.It was said he painted or carved for months of what he saw,(maybe that is what is meant by "learn our past take these keys and dip from the wells of history
perhaps through others eyes we may find how to save us all" :o

I'm fairly certain they said the trailer shows the ark.
