Isnt the Onyx Dyson Sphere's diameter (or radius?) 3AU?

Then just multiply 551,360,188 * 3 to get how much bigger it is than earth. or 1,654,080,564 times bigger than earth
Re: Need Help With Halo Firing Logic
No, it's exponentially bigger if you increase the radius. 3AU radius would mean it has 4,962,241,700 times more surface area than Earth.
It's big.
It's big.

Thats all we had to say, -blam- numbers, a Dyson sphere has to be giger than earth if its default radius is that of Earths rotational path. Lets talk about more important matters. It's big.

150,000,000 KM according to GoO, Halsey says it's 2 AU.
It's also big and tiny at the same time as the Forerunner compressed the external size so that it could fit within Onyx, yet internally it was normal size seeing as it had a star similar in size to the Sun inside.

Yes, the slipspace entrance is very small. It makes sense that the entrance to another dyson sphere resides in the ark on earth, hence the cradle of life.ODST Epsilon wrote:150,000,000 KM according to GoO, Halsey says it's 2 AU.

2 AU in diameter. Which would make it 1 AU in radius, a standard Dyson Sphere.ODST Epsilon wrote:150,000,000 KM according to GoO, Halsey says it's 2 AU.
(If it were any larger, there would be no liquid water on the surface due to distance from the sun.)

Re: Need Help With Halo Firing Logic
It could easily be bigger. The larger the star that it contains is, the larger the dyson sphere has to be to keep the energy gained on the surface equal to that of earth.
