we hardly knew ye. i was expecting to meet the monitor of Earth in-game on Halo3. seems he'll already be destroyed by 343 when the game starts.

This is speculation.
but...it would make sense after reading Monitor Adjutant Reflex's messages on the forums. he talking about someone that he knows a LOT about. and clearly is also better that AR himself.

To me, it just seems obvious that Adjutant Reflex is the monitor of this instalation [i am refering to The Ark/Earth]
and it would also seem reasonable that 343 is the thing that AR has been telling us about all this time.

Time will tell, and im sure we will find out before the end of this ARG.

If AR was a monitor, he'd be more talkative and ready to answer any and all questions. That's the nature of monitors. AR instead was secretive, so he's likely to not be a monitor.

It's been theorized that he was the BIOS for The Ark/the boot program for The Ark.
the thing that really led me to believe he was a monitor is his name. Adjutant Reflex, Penitent Tangent, Guilty Spark.

Also, if he were Monitor of the Ark, I don't think 343 GS would outrank him.

Sorry, 343 guilty spark couldn't exist in this ARG (unless he gets sent back in time). He didn't encounter humans until Halo 1 (the human history line)/
