Sentinels on Ghosts Of Onyx

Could someone briefly reply with a physical description of the sentinels that are encountered on GoO....What they look like.....

They look like the Sentinels we know from Halo and Halo 2, except for the fact that they can join together to form a more powerful Sentinel.

the reason I ask is because the logo on the CSETI website reminded me of the Sentinels physical description of the GoO book.

They were a central sphere with three "boons" (or rods) floating about it. Kinda similar, I guess.
