i am guessing IRIS.

my issue is that iris is a messenger.
or at least messenger to the gods, and maybe gods are forerunners.....i'm at a loss.

but seriously, that would mean that right now something is turning on or coming out of a long standby, and when AR did his POST he found something wrong. 'something once malevolent now is stirring'. sry if i got the quote wrong im paraphrasing from memory

Could we get a side-by-side comparison of these items with the happenings from the AR timeline?

Also, I assume the description above came from the Wikipedia article on POST. It has a lot of other information, such as standard error codes from the old days. While it is conceivable that they have some relevance here, I highly doubt it since AR is supposed to be a part of a VERY complex system and it would be very cheesy of Bungie to make it use the same error codes we had in the 70s and 80s.

anyways, this is the first theory about AR that to me seems almost solid.

That wiki page has pretty good descriptions of possible beeps. Do we know WHICH beep did it make exactly?

Also correlating the events may tell us things like "What caused Adjutant Reflex to awaken"

This completely makes sense.
now the question is "what is he the BIOS for?"
I'm guessing he is booting up the fail safe for The Ark.
which would make sense because we are being spoon fed the history of the Ark right now, via the halo3/comic, SOTA.
who agree's with me? and if you agree, what speculation could you add to this?
