Quick "This or That" Question
Is AR communicating with us as if we were in ITS timeframe or is AR "visiting the past" and in our timeframe?

Re: Quick "This or That" Question
All we know is that it's here. Most likely it belongs in this time.

Re: Quick "This or That" Question
I would say it is in this time frame,
and I'm sure others can back me up here,
relating back to i Love Bees - she 'crashed' into our time,
and Bungie don't really have a 'thing' for Time Travel (someone stated, and is kind of obvious)

Agreed.Van Helsing wrote: and Bungie don't really have a 'thing' for Time Travel (someone stated, and is kind of obvious)
ilovebees.com was run by a third-party company. AR (so far) looks to be an in-house job by Bungie. So they'd stick to their own preferences.
(At the very least, that means this stuff might be cannon.)

Going a little OT, that's one thing i really like about this community. In a lot of other places that would have turned into a massive row, and eventually a flame war (and maybe even bannings) but here, you compliment him for noticing.
Back on topic, I think it's safe to say he's in our time-frame

Re: Quick "This or That" Question
Our time frame, yes, which is odd.
If he's speaking from the future (Halo's time), then his concerns about array integrity and the enemy are completely sensible. Master Chief has destroyed a Halo, and the Flood are apparently making their way to Earth.
But if he's speaking from 2007, what is threatening the array's integrity? What enemy is about to arrive?

Well, y'know... when you've been around for over 100,000 years, (assuming, of course, that it's a Forerunner AI) 500 years really isn't all that much. The equivalent of 6 months in a human lifespan.Maimbot 9000 wrote:Our time frame, yes, which is odd.

Bungie used time travel for DOA4. Although not really all that related...Van Helsing wrote:I would say it is in this time frame,
