*SPOILERS* AR symbol: Halo 3 Legendary Cut Scene

Ok, first, I'm going give you guys a link to download the Legendary extra cut scene ending. Remember, this is the end of the game, so if you haven't beaten it, watch at your own risk.

Ok, if you pause it at 0:31 or when the light starts going over the planet, and look in the bottom left corner, you see the top part of AR's symbol.

I'm not sure what to make of this. This entire cutscene does look like the opening of marathon, but I don't know if it's related to this. I don't want this thread to be speculating the bungie/marathon connection however. So, unless it's IRIS related, let's keep that out of here. But, let's figure out what's going on here. There has to be more to IRIS.

AR's superior said that we ought to be looking for him in the Ark (untold lightyears? as in away). We've found terminals. Is this what we're looking for, or are we digging in the wrong place?

BTW, is that symbol the only one we see during H3, or are there others?

remember, the symbol is just a forerunner glyph. There are forerunner symbols all over the place. So by searching, really you're only searching for AR's forerunner symbol.

Oh yeah, ARs symbol I think is in the IWHBYD room at the top of one of the rings.
