Shield Worlds

I had a question regarding them. Does it at any point state that there were 7 Shield Worlds, or is this rampant speculation? (I haven't read any of the novels except FoR and nothing I have read on the various wiki pages and whatnot states a number.) Also, at what point did the SHield World on Onyx &...

Re: A CALL TO EVERYBODY

That would possibly imply some sort of wave-type effect.

With sound, there's destructive interference that neutralizes the other waves, but there is also constructive. Emitted in the proper way, two equal waves will double when they meet.

Re: General Server Discussion

Yes, yes. Any one who is knowledgeable enough to have actually researched their words, knows that Halo destroys all creatures of enough biomass (NOTE: Not neccessarily sentient) to support the Flood. They are asking how exactly it accomplishes this. Also: This is the wrong place. No, I'm not a mod, ...

Re: Where do the sentinels come from?!?!

Why would you need to find an "absolute end" by leaving research subjects to study, when you could just kill all of them. That's pretty "absolute" if you ask me.

Re: The forerunners...stupid?

But that brings up the question of the Shield Worlds. Why build them if you weren't going to use them? I have a feeling that they were en route when something bad happened. perhaps infestations on the transports, and they had no choice but to kill themselves. And perhaps a select few who went earlie...

Re: Analysis of image 'Slide_Ref070107'

Seems like it.

My head hurts from playing catch-up on almost every single thread here, not to mention that article was bio-wordy as hell...

Re: Analysis of image 'Slide_Ref070107'

I tried taking a look at those alphanumeric combinations down at the bottom and came up with, what is most likely random coincidences, but I figured that I might as well toss it out, in the off chance that it will have some future reference, or someone who wants to delve deeper. (Tossed in B3 from t...

Re: The forerunners...stupid?

Seems a lot of it is a issue of hubris with The Forerunners. They get pushed to the point where they have to wipe out all forms of life and reseed the galaxy and whatnot, yet they believe they may be able to control the Flood in the future, after they have restructured themselves?

Scientists...

Re: Server Text Discussion

Why, did the forerunners put so much effort into building a weapon that would wipe out the Flood's resources instead of putting a bit more thought into creating a weapon that would wipe out the parasite itself?...Hence when activiated, it would not have wiped them out and would not threaten us to u...

Re: Forerunner Summary Thread

I can't remember where, but didn't Bungie confirm that Gravemind was, indeed, A Flood?
Don't quote me on that. I can't quite remember and don't have the time to hunt it down...
