Re: Microsoft explains Bungie's absence at E3

What a fucking Idiot. Why not take the extra time for the people there to focus on you and your company with what is sure to be a system seller and good game? With Mattrick's claim that he 360 will outsell the PS3 this generation, they need to start working on it. Sure they have a huge lead in the A...

Re: Weekly Update Message Discussion [BWU - 6/6/08]

Deep about Han Solo. That's the first time I've heard that. But why would they need those tubes if the enemy was defeated? But the more important thing is that why would they put those containment fields on the Halos that would destroy them? Put the research facility's far away from the installation...

Re: Start of 2008 Gaming

I've never been a big fan of the GTA series, and buying GTA 4 I was expecting something wild, wet, and fun. What I've played has been anything but those. I haven't even got my first gun yet. A bat, knife, sure. Even the driving bores me. Too realistic, too little jack-and-go mentality. I liked when ...

Re: Weekly Update Message Discussion [BWU - 6/6/08]

I realize that the security systems in place have been there for 100 000 years, but I find it amazing that with all of the tech they had, they couldn't destroy the flood. Or maybe they did destroy the flood, but what would make them think that they would be able to contain the most volatile virus in...

Re: Start of 2008 Gaming

I grew bored of GTA 4 after 3 hours.
Yes, 3 hours.
The only interesting thing I got to in the entire game was sex with Michelle or whatever the first girlfriend's name is.
And I am playing PAA:OTRSPOD on my Mac, for the sole reason of controls. I just find it easier.

Re: System Integrity Confirmed

That sucks. I have a solution-play all of your other games less, and Halo 3 more.

But then how far out are we? How fast is slipspace travel, anyways? And how long did it take the crew to get there?

Re: Start of 2008 Gaming

First off, LOL @ above.
Second, the point is that they didn't just copy and paste the map. They changed it, and called it a remake. But, if you think about it, what remade movie has ever been kept exactly the same? I see where both of you are coming from on this.

Re: Start of 2008 Gaming

I agree with the Blackout argument. My favorite part of that map was having a swords game, and everybody coming up the lift in the tower, and all of us getting killed. It's too complicated with the design. Part of what made Lockout great was the fact that it was plain, simple and while asymmetrical,...

Re: Start of 2008 Gaming

Ghost Town's OK, Avalanche has produced a few epic battles, and Blackout was not as good as I thought . I am performing heresy by saying I like Guardian better.
