Re: Adjutant Reflex- have we met this guy before?

All monitors are adjutant (I don't believe that's correct English, but what the heck). Every single one is in place to serve the Reclaimers.

It's going to be weird if we're all right.

Re: My Take on the Forerunner Email *Finished for the mo*

The popcorn kernels lack the natural intelligence to correctly pilot any vehicle, much less a 26th Century helicopter. All we see is a big, bubbling mass of Flood juice.

Re: My Take on the Forerunner Email *Finished for the mo*

I believe we have proof that they can, in fact, interlace with technology. The Flood-infested Pelican in "High Charity" wasn't being piloted by a warrior, after all.

Re: AdjutantReflex = Promotional Scheme for Marathon?

That would actually be a fairly brilliant move. It's just like releasing the "Blastacular Map Pack" the month before the beta launched. It got people even more excited. If Marathon was marketed the same way as Halo 3, and promised as the game's spiritual successor, it would be a huge hit. ...

Re: Adjutant Reflex- have we met this guy before?

Definitely an interesting theory you have there, Ursus. But I have to add into the equation my two-fifths of a nickel (Strange wording, I know. Just think about it a little). The term "Adjutant" could be interpreted several different ways. "Lower", "below", "higher...

Re: AdjutantReflex = Promotional Scheme for Marathon?

Those rumors have been circulating ever since Xbox Live Arcade came into existence. And if there was ever going to be a place to launch a Marathon viral marketing scheme, it would probably be at the Marathon.Bungie.Org forums. I'm not saying that your proposal is impossible, but it's highly unlikely...

Re: The Array

"Array" refers to a grouping of like things, not a single, solitary entity. Besides, when have you ever heard a monitor refer to an installation as a "Halo"?

Re: The Array

When I read those posts, I was thinking of the "Array" as the heart of either the Ark or some other Forerunner creation. It's definitely an interesting choice of words, at least when capitalized. As for the elements found within the Array, I don't think they're what we should be thinking a...
