From what I remember, by the time they were ready to use them things were moving too quickly and they couldn't get there in time. Best laid plans . . .

To add to the op theory (pure speculation, of course!): I wonder if this (by this I mean the slenderness of the swag--not that I'm complaining!--compared to servers 1 & 2; and the larger-than-expected pool of people receiving packages) is a clue to why the packages didn't get sent when we expect...

My package just arrived, identical to TheKilla88's (that is, keychain & poster). So it's the real deal.

Over at CI, there's a thread by TheKilla88 with pics of his server 3 package--apparently, the package was marked for 2-day delivery, and had a "mail by October 25" stamp on it (and a poster and an H3 keychain inside). So, I guess we have a reason to watch the mail again. http://www.bungie....

My guess is it's a continuity snafu between H:CE & H3; the only other possibility I can come up with is if the ratings aren't necessarily progressive, but indicate a variety of qualities.
