Re: A Monument to All of Our Sins
Simple question, what was the original sin? Some naked chick handing a dude an apple? No nothing that simple... The original sins was the loss of innocence through the discover of "knowledge". The paradise of ignorance can be hell for those who want to know more. And I believe the Forerunn...

Re: Orpheus - Story of Halo... via Terminals?
No, never be sorry about a perfectly placed Star Trek reference. (second pilot actually). Also, consider the phrase that power corrupts. Perhaps a Cortana fused even more power from Gravemind could have corrupted her personality.
Power doesn't corrupt, it's the choices we make that ...

Forerunners = Schrödinger's cat
Okay, everyone's noted the presents of part of Schrödinger's equation in Server 03. What if this a hint to where the forerunners are? They could be super positioned like Schrödinger's cat in their shield worlds/stasis. Trapped between life and death, because when they entered stasis and the Halo's w...

Re: Orpheus - Story of Halo... via Terminals?
Why do people take everything they read as literal... The "Orpheus Event" was when the moon collided into the earth, which changed life on Earth. Now I'm trying to relate that when the forerunners came to earth they changed life as we know it. I'm not suggesting that they created the moon....

Re: Orpheus - Story of Halo... via Terminals?
I wasn't being literal about Orpheus hitting Earth. I was bringing up the point that life on Earth changed after the Orpheus event and wanted to correlate this to the terminals, i.e. the one just before the "Reclaimer" terminal. Which is where I'm assuming that we get the final piece of th...

Orpheus - Story of Halo... via Terminals?
Merged the topics. - Avateur Notably, Bungie's MO for story telling is through terminals, as per the Marathon series. So as I went through the list of achievements I noted that the second last terminal Orpheus has an interesting story behind it, that might help explain more about the relationship b...

You know what, I think the Flood are the Forerunners, they just caught a cold.

I like your theory about the Reclaimers. Makes etymological sense when you put it in that context.

Re: Quantum Mechanics Link
My take on the Halo ARG was to expand and explain the Halo story. I just trying to see where the inspiration for the story came from? Like Schroedinger's incite into genes inspired the discovery of the DNA structure by Clark & Co. Guess I'm just trying to profile the writers to see where their t...
