The thought that Cortana once was human crossed my mind several times as I pondered what she said, and then it hit me.
If Cortana was still able to produce a holographic image of herself via hologram, her fingers then would be crossed.
It's a joke between her and MC.

"[<array-sdr.> 11 seconds] fire: -00-00-00-10-0999- {c-match-burn} effectiveness of enemy core fleet negligible {D-com} I feel no peril. Top box states that he does not feel any danger that the Enemy is almost here. I disagree on a lot of things... The forerunners, to me at least, seem to be p...

Re: Array Recorder Data Analysis
So, no, Cortana didn't say she made a blind jump--Keyes said it. Where exactly does it say that Cortana used coordinates? It was stated in one of the books. In short, the Coordinates to Halo were found on some crystal. I don't remember the name, but Cortana used the coordinates on the crystal to ju...

Re: Server Video Discussion
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the dialogue: Cortana: What is that?! GM: I.... I am a monument to all your sins. Is it possible he was referring to Cortana and not MC? I doubt it, but it certainly raises an interesting question. That is what my presumption was at first, primarily on the basis ...

But does that include planets that have been terraformed?
In theory, a society could live on top of a dying star that was generating a sustainable amount of heat, before it would eventually die.
Good point though, I don't think anyone has brought up the GHZ before.

"why does the aray only effect one galaxy" if it is some kind of galactic death ray that gets fired then it wouldnt stop when it reached the edge of the galaxy it would just keep going. How did the forerunnrs keep the wipe out to just one galaxy. I would also like to point out that the fa...

Hm, I've been looking closely at the pictures of the cells, and, just out of the blue, I got a great idea. What if the Halo's blasts stop some sort of basic cellular function? Like animal cell's cellular division/reproduction? - Jag Mmkay then, question. Even with the body not reproducing more cell...

Re: perhaps we are looking for the wrong things
And correct me if I'm wrong, but it's never stated that the Covenant have only visited the same two Halos as we did, or that they never saw the Flood before. They just couldn't fire the array without a reclaimer (read: human) anyway, and they certainly know their way around the technology. Two poss...

This is just my idea here, but it always seemed to me that the Rings functioned very similar to The Dakara Super Weapon , which in short, reduces all matter within range to its basic molecular structure. It does this by propagating a disruptor wave that breaks down matter at the molecular level. If ...
