Re: Countdown Discussion
Well, it seemed like the comments context was the first part of the paragraph in which he speaks of the looks of the Covenant. It led me to wonder if the forerunner were actually going to be present in the story which sent me on a whirlwind of thoughts about this ARG and perhaps finding a forerunner...

Re: Countdown Discussion

Re: A CALL TO EVERYBODY
Fist of all, where did the covenant get their mandate to kill all humans and why? Second, if you use the quote "Their survival as a race was dependent upon it. I am grateful to see that some of them survived to reproduce." and look at it in the context of humans surviving to reproduce, it ...

Re: Forerunner Summary Thread
What about the Gravemind? Perhaps the Flood were more intelligent than we give them credit for and there was a full fledged war against the Gravemind and his forces. OR perhaps the Forerunner were tricked by machines into activating the halos. The latter is less probable. Just a spur of the moment t...

Updated translated clock
In my previous post: http://args.bungie.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=237 I made a clock that counted down. Due to the speed up, I have updated the countdown with the info gathered by Ryoseth in this post: http://args.bungie.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=338 The translated clock is still the same link...

Re: ACTUAL Translated Clock + Proof
Haha, I just used some basic math to figure it out and wrote some script. My clock is accurate to the minute (its only off by 7-10 seconds). But I admire that you're delving into the file on the page. I'm excited to see what you'll find! Keep posting your results.

A good way to determine bad sites
There has been a lot of talk about wether this site is legit or that site is the real deal and it even got me going this morning. However, I think there may be a possible way to determine if some of those sites people mention are a hoax or not. Is anyone familiar with Archive.org? Its a website who'...

Translated clock
I translated the countdown timer to a regular timer so everyone will more easily be able to tell how much time is going by. I hope this helps a little.
