Re: New Clue Found!!
One thing about the numbers that you guys need to keep in mind is the fact that our brains hate not seeing patterns or not being able to make out something. To constantly be seeing numbers in there is, from my perspective, that effect and you guys are kinda giving into it. Use the other information ...

Re: New Clue Found!!
Dates seem a little interesting with it ending on August 30. Might be a logical stopping point for the ARG with the release less than a month away. It also does seem a little intriguing that the very top listing is by MS and seeing as how they have no qualms about using their own resources for this ...

At least this seems to be a believable lead compared to other things. Hope this actually pans out.

Re: Who thinks 7/7/07 will be a big event?
Well of course it's reasonable, in fact I said it's reasonable. Reward the few to entice the many. What I stated I didn't get was the outright bitterness. When you consider how many people are "playing" this ARG in varying degrees, that sort of bitter response, as permeated as it is throu...

Re: Who thinks 7/7/07 will be a big event?
i think its abit wrong to bathe a tiny proportion of the community in swag and leave the rest shivering in the dark but it might be abit early to judge MS ... sounds like a similar thing here, only the first 500 people to get to the servers get the content,  Why are people so upset ...

Re: did the "breaking" of the ARG foul up the waters?
simply put, did the early "breaking" of the arg ruin whatever plan m$ had, and they are now flying by the seat of their pants basically? timeframes thrown off, servers opened too early, etc? I'm actually curious as to how people though we "broke" the ARG. It's not like we found ...

Re: are we trying to hard?
They may or may not have expected what we've done, but they really should have. All alternate-reality games are conducted in a manner that associates itself to what we've been doing with this one. We're certainly not trying too hard. My worry is that Microsoft simply wasn't expecting us to try this...
