Re: Weekly Update Message 2
Now this is a little odd. The Halo in the first game was installation 04, while the Halo in the second game was 05--but it was called Delta Halo. Delta is the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet. Logically, installation 04 would be Delta Halo, while 05 would be Epsilon Halo, but that's not the case...

Re: Weekly Update Message 2
One thing I notice here is that the system that is watching Delta Halo rules out sabotage because there was no outside agent accessing it. However, keep in mind that the flood was studied there, and therefore, wasn't an outside agent. But still, something happened on that ring to release the flood t...

Re: The Forerunner Collective in the Ark
I agree, except I think in what you're quoting, Kiloh, the "we" is the speaker, and humans (his audience, us). We all escaped, we all are witness to the aftermath. I think the "new AR" is the Forerunner who stayed behind to fire the Halos, and he has somehow survived in the Ark ...

The Forerunner Collective in the Ark
Though the ARG may be over (a rather disappointing end, I might add) I think I may have realized something yet. There are subtle clues in the way the forerunner entity in the servers communicates that leads to believe that it is one person and multiple. One large clue is that we talk to the entity o...

Re: Some Revelations
I have a lot of time to think at my job. Most of the time, I think about Halo, and IRIS. A couple of things have jumped out at me, which seem that they may be significant. Time Travel Many people have drawn connections between the Marathon and Halo series. This has led them to speculate as to the s...

Re: A Monument to All of Our Sins
Bolded and underlined the parts I liked/found interesting. Ultimate Knowledge : Here was something I mentioned in a different post but someone has brought it back up. What if the forerunners were playing god? They create a perfect trap in the halos: stumble upon them, and be forced to activate the ...

Re: A Monument to All of Our Sins
Alright, I started his theory, so I guess I might as well answer as much as I can (I know as much about the flood as everyone else does). The Library: The library holds a specific purpose in the forerunners grand plan. They have mass amounts of information about previous species and sciences and hav...

Re: A Monument to All of Our Sins
Yeah, I can see I was mistaken about the entire idea of the flood being created by the forerunners. To follow that up, I'm know the 'god' in this won't be physical or really a god at all (the name just fits the job). To clarify, the 'god' is either the essence of fate itself or some ultimate force o...

OMG! The Forerunners were actually Chinese Alligators!Ceantari wrote:DocOctavius wrote:Here's a good resource on the flood:

Not sure if anything would help this game, but there's more info on the flood if anyone is curious.
But why a Chinese Alligator?

Yeah, it's not like I was expecting St. Louis to be on the list, but when you live 15 minutes from the place it kinda sucks.ChiliDog wrote:Man...No love for St. Louis.
