Halo3.com background

Just wondering if anyone has noticed that the animated background on Halo3.com have become less sickly looking? The mottled yellow-green has transitioned into a more Halo-blue overall tone. Any ideas as to why? Linked to server openings?

Re: Forerunner Craft in Halo 3 Zune image

The visor's reflection is just a quick cut-and-paste job from the E3 trailer. Don't pay any mind to it. Also, DHalo and I already confirmed that the two objects are the same. There was a topic about it on the HBO forums. Matter of fact, I even upload a comparison image: http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs...

Re: Stopped Countdown: Coords?

Personally, those pics he posted don't exactly match up and the edges are two wide. Plus, in the Announcement Trailer Kilimanjaro is right there and MC doesn't climb up a mountain. Slight terrain similarities around a crater and a flat round object does not make a match. We don't know that the moun...

Re: Coordinates and AR's avatar

Yeah, I was messing around with that in photoshop, but I need to find a better diagram of stonehenge. I noticed that if you rotated the avatar just right, it matches up with the angle of the sun hitting the altar stone on the solstice.

Re: Coordinates and AR's avatar

I'm sorry, but I just don't see it. Mind posting both images, the originals, before you merged them? I can't make out anything from that. At one point I did...now the post is gone....wtf? http://ic3.deviantart.com/fs18/f/2007/170/3/8/Google_earth_crater_by_wallflower_perks.jpg http://ic3.deviantart...

Re: wikipedia entrys might be legit!

I imagine an ARG source would actually write Swastika instead of "nazi symbol"...

However, the timestamps are definately intriguing. I'm pretty sure we in the IRC were the first to associate Mt. Elgin...

Re: Coordinates and AR's avatar

The avatar is an apparent map piece. To where I don't know. However, My thinking was "Hmm, map chunk + 'Yet there's a spot' quote equals....I'm supposed to be looking for somewhere. He's giving us a map."

Re: Coordinates and AR's avatar

I'll do my best. It's not easy navigating google earth for this sort of thing.
