Re: Repeating patterns in StarImage1
As far as I can tell, the only constellation that remotely appears in this image is Crux, commonly known as the Southern Cross. The "orange star", known as Gamma Crux, is in the wrong position, however, as in real life it is at the 'head' of the cross. Also, the appearance of Crux is consi...

Re: Stopped Countdown: Coords?
Personally, those pics he posted don't exactly match up and the edges are two wide. Plus, in the Announcement Trailer Kilimanjaro is right there and MC doesn't climb up a mountain. Slight terrain similarities around a crater and a flat round object does not make a match. We're grasping at straws he...

Re: Stopped Countdown: Coords?
If the numbers are base 7, but Google Earth uses base 10, then would another possible combination of number be
(base7)--(base10)
001=1
012=9
034=25
053=38
(base7)--(base10)
001=1
012=9
034=25
053=38

Re: Society of the Ancients in London. Other places?
I want to go so much. partly to get me one of them flyers, but also to try and help with the ARG Sounds great. While you're there, ask them if they could remove the redundant inline firewalls bricking off their server, find out why such a basic website is running ASP, oh yes, and possibly if they w...

Re: Infiltrating and Joining SOTA
Yes, it would seem that several thousand years of being immersed in salt water, 50 metres down, will do that.Lichtonatus wrote:And for a replica, it doesn't look much like the original.

Re: Infiltrating and Joining SOTA
Also, it would be helpful for us to learn more about the specific things mentioned on the SOTA website. Stonehenge, the limestone handprint, and the Antikythere Mechanism. (For example: did you know that some people think that the Antikythere Mechanism is a form of an ancient computer?) Also good t...

Re: Look for the signs?
RVideo: All i see is fancy connect-the-dots work going on there, I really don't see anything (unless you could line it out for us) But this really is looking too deep into what could have been just an image they had lying around that looked cool, stuck a glyph on it and sent it to people. Well, see...

Re: Look for the signs?
after all whats the point of an entire poem just to promote the 1 symbol in the email? Well there may be more items of interest in the background image than the obvious Forerunner symbol. I posted this early in the morning, which received no replies. On close scrutinization of the original image, r...
