Technically I don't think Bungie has ever shown the type of star that is in either system we've encountered a Halo in. And the Halos in both games orbited a gas giant.

Also it seems we are looking at an Sol type star and a jupiter like gas giant. Now ever Halo we've ever seen has been in orbit around a gas giant.

Of course we could also be looking at Sol and Jupiter...
