Re: End Game/Press Start to Begin...
But even then it would be the community aspect that made it worth while, not the few facts or swag that was received. Perhaps. I feel that, in the end, many people playing the game were more attracted to the prestige of being one of the 500 and receiving the prizes, rather than the information, bec...

Re: The Forerunner Collective in the Ark
Earth was "beyond the line," that is to say, beyond the Halo activation grid's reach. As 343GS stated, the Halos have an effective radius three times that of the galaxy. Earth lies about 2/3 of the way to the galaxy's edge. If Earth were beyond the grid's reach, so would a large portion o...

Re: The Forerunner Collective in the Ark
Not to mention that we don't even know if the Forerunners have genders or procreate.Just one question. Just WHAT exactly would they put the sperm and egg idea in, in order grow a Forerunner? I SERIOUSLY doubt that it would be a human, and I think an incubation chamber is even less likely.

Re: THE MOON! Is it really, though?
Unless its orbit changed suddenly and drastically, which isn't terribly likely, a moon would have been torn apart by tidal forces before it impacted the Earth, and we'd see evidence of it in the form of debris or rings around Earth's Roche limit. I've never heard of this second-moon theory, but I ha...

Re: Iris Is Officially Over...
I agree, many things could have been done better. I lurked off and on until Server 5, only end up waiting for the coordinates in TAL to be entered properly like everyone else (well, except you Seattle folks ;) ) I thought TAL was going to be a three-part thing, where people in each city would have t...

Re: Pangea shown in cycle_response image...
"Would you like to see the relevent data?" Yes, dammit! And for that matter, what happened to Miranda Keyes first saying "find out why (Regret) came to Earth" then deciding "he's given us all the intel we need." Um. No he hasn't. I guess it wouldn't have looked very he...

Radiation. How would the Halos get rid of all sentient life in the galaxy without destroying other matter?
