But if that object is simply the core of the Ark, why is the music so scary at the end? You would think he's heading towards the Brute home world or some Flood-infested planet with that music, which what specifically Flood-toned I think.

Maybe they'll surprise us and add the Iris stuff to the Legendary/Limited edition disc stuff, and that's why it ended in time for them to add it in before the game goes Gold, which should be in like two weeks.

The Flood should have been dead, but for some reason, they are hibernated on the Halo installations (at least the two we have been to.)
