Re: keepers of the flame??
in the iris fan kit it tells us to look for the signs, the keepers of the flame. could this be reffering to the flame thrower? I don't have time to do the research right now but maybe the initial site the flamethrower was mentioned on holds the clue to server 5 That could be possible, in halo2 on t...

Re: A Monument to All of Our Sins
CDC scientists keep the smallpox virus on ice. I have heard two arguments for doing so: 1) Moral grounds-preventing the extinction of a species. 2) Just in case it needs to be researched further (like an outbreak of a similar, but different virus). Well originally, it was kept for study throughout ...

Re: speculation from bungie.net
(although I still can't figure out why Cpt. Keyes was pulled into the flood "blob" and simply mutated) He was put into the flood brain form along with some other elites in charge of the Truth & Reconciliation so that the Flood would be able to pilot the ship. This whole theory is just...

Re: The Flood: Natural or Artificial?
Remember that the Flood could have infected a species that could survive in space. Or, since they can obviously alter the host to suit their needs, maybe they can perform further alterations. And the Flood itself is just a virus- and we know that some bacteria and viruses can survive in space. The ...

Re: The Flood: Natural or Artificial?
From a biological standpoint, I do not see how the Flood could survive in vacuum. If the infection forms are easy enough for the Master Chief to pop with his hand, there's no way they wouldn't explode in vacuum. Same thing goes for the carrier forms. Now, the combat forms are a little hardier than t...

But the Flood had not been released at the time when the movie is set.

Re: The Flood: Natural or Artificial?
Pretty much. The only thing left in question is whether the Forerunners altered the Flood in any way.c2h6o wrote:Snapz...well, I guess server 4 cleared all of that up...or most of it. "Extragalactic in origin"

Re: Orpheus - Story of Halo... via Terminals?
My theory is that Cortana goes into the final stage of rampancy and that's why, during the cut scene from E3, we see her fall to her knees. This seems very likely to me. They have taken a lot of plot items from Marathon and we haven't seen a lot of rampancy in Halo's plot. Cortana has been showing ...

Re: Perceiving the Dimensions of IRIS: Episode 2
Just got around to watching this one; it's even better than the last. The console looking halo firing log was excellent. Keep it up.
